Jazz musicians played to the crowds as the latest facelifted model was revealed. The Honda Jazz has been hailed as one of the finest small hatches that money can buy.
A total of four variants of the Honda Jazz are offered, starting with the baseline S variant at RM74,800, followed by the E variant at RM81,000, and the V variant at 88,400. The fourth and final variant in the Jazz line-up is the Jazz Hybrid at RM87,800.
The model that got the conversation started was the Honda Jazz Hybrid, which features an Atkinson Cycle 4 cylinder DOHC i-VTEC engine mated to a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). With a more advanced hybrid system that features a lithium ion (Li-ion) battery and a more powerful electric motor, the combined output of the hybrid system is equivalent to that of a 1.8-litre engine, at 137PS and 170Nm of torque.
